How to invest
Investment platforms
Investments in the ThomasLloyd Energy Impact Trust may be made via a broker, or through a selection of online platforms. These groups do not offer investment advice, they simply allow you to buy the shares and subsequently trade them. This list will be expanding as more platforms and fund supermarkets add the Trust to their offerings so if you have a platform that is not on this list, please email us at info@tlenergyimpact.com. Investment trusts may be held within ISA or self-invested personal pension (SIPP) products.
To trade in the trust you need a code called a Ticker, which for this Trust is TLEP for the GBP price and TLEI for the USD price.
If you wish to get advice then an authorised financial adviser can do so, as well as make recommendations tailored to your personal circumstances and objectives. Typically, they charge a fee for their service and this can range from a fixed charge to a percentage of your assets, depending on the service they are undertaking for you.
For financial advice and some of the options available to you, the Association of Investment Companies (AIC) provide more guidance on their Getting Financial Advice webpage, and www.unbiased.co.uk provides a list of independent financial advisers in your area.
ThomasLloyd Energy Impact Trust is an investment company as defined in section 833 of the Companies Act 2006.
